Aston Ingham Women's Institute

2011 is the the 90th anniversary for Aston Ingham W.I.

It was set up by Mrs. Power on 26th January, 1921 with approximately 15 members and has served the community well over the past 89 years.

We have a membership of 27 at the moment and we meet at 2.0 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month throughout the year.  We are a very active W.I. with speakers each month, outings ranging from Theatre Trips to Pamper Days.  We do sing Jerusalem and make jam but we have a lot of fun doing it!

If you would like to try us out, come along as a guest.

The Village Hall was originally built for the W.I. and opened on 20th February, 1927 after much fund-raising.  It has been enlarged since then with Lottery Funding and is the hub of our community in Aston Ingham.
